Although the owner Nick tries very hard, the contractors he uses are extremely weak. After doing extensive research on fibreglass pool installation requirements, and specifying my requirements during negotiations, I didn't get what I paid for. Specific problems include:
Concrete collar was constructed so poorly, it fell apart a few days after it was poured and had to be replaced. Pool plumbing had to be entirely replaced - looked like a two year old glued some pipes together, and could not switch to spa mode because it was connected improperly. No backfill under spa, steps or sitting area. Also had to fire the electrician recommended by West Coast. Did half the job then wanted to double his fees.
Most of the problems were finally resolved but it took over 8 months to do so.
My recommendation, find a reputable company with solid references and be sure to check them! Also ensure you have everything you want specifically listed in the contract. It's worth paying a little more for a reputable dealer.
